Job summary

Tomlin Personnel Ltd in Notts is seeking skilled HGV Class 2 drivers for night trunking work across the UK. You will operate trunk runs to RDCs and sites, with some hub runs and minimal handballing.

Working Monday to Friday nights, start times around 1700–1900. PAYE £16.00/hr or £18.00/hr with umbrella, weekend rates higher. Based in Nottingham, you’ll represent the company with a professional appearance and reliable attitude.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 Licence required.
• CPC up to date for Class 2.
• Digi card up to date for Class 2.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 HGV trunking across the UK to RDCs, manufacturing sites or similar locations.
• May perform hub runs across the UK; very limited or no handballing required.

Our long established logistics client based inNottingham Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 2 HGV Driving Trunking work across the UK to RDC's, Manufacturing Sites or similar types of site across the UK. Also you may be required to Hub Run work as well, all work involves very limited or no handballing at all.

This is ongoing Monday to Friday work, start times around 1700pm to 1900pm each evening

Licence requirements:

• HGV Class 2 Licence
• Up to date CPC for your Class 2
• Up to date Digi card for your Class 2

You Must:

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary

• Monday to Friday Nights per hour: £16.00 ph (PAYE), £18.00 ph (Inc Holiday Pay Via our Umbrella Paye)
• The above rates are either PAYE or Umbrella, please see above accordingly
• Weekend work paid at higher rates
