Job summary

Tomlin Personnel Ltd in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, is urgently seeking HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers for regular ongoing work. You will drive across the UK to manufacturing sites and depots, performing trailer swaps and maintaining compliance.

Our long established logistics client based Mansfield Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving Tramping work across the UK to Manufacturing Sites or similar types of site, plus some back hauling my be required, so staying in touch with the transport team is also vital part of this work. Our client also as various depots all over the UK, some of your night outs could be at the depots where you have better facilities as well. This is very easy work as well, just driving and trailor swapping.

Licence requirements:

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Up to date CPC for your Class 1
• Up to date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must:

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary:

All the below rates are PAYE only, No Umbrella or Limited Company

• Days per hour: £15.00 ph to £17.00 ph
• Weekends - Saturday £20.00 ph and Sunday £22.00 ph
• Night out allowance of £25.00 per night out
