Job summary

Tomlin Personnel Ltd is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers to support a long-established Derby-based logistics client on a continuing basis. The role offers regular shifts with potential temp-to-perm opportunities.

Work involves national or local deliveries with start times between 06:00 and 08:00, Monday to Friday. Candidates must hold HGV Class 2, CPC and Digi card, with salaries paid per hour (£15 PAYE; £17 umbrella on weekdays; £16/£17 Sat; £17/£19 Sun).

Qualifications

• Holding a valid HGV Class 2 licence (UK) and up-to-date CPC.
• Digi card for Class 2 licence is current.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 HGV/LGV vehicles for national or local deliveries.
• Start times range from 06:00 to 08:00, Monday to Friday, ongoing work.

Our long established logistics client based in Derby Derbyshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 2 HGV LGV Driving work, of either National Deliveries or more local work. Start time depending on client range from 0600am to 0800am, Monday to Friday, ongoing work, with Temp to Perm opportunities available as well.

Licence requirements:

• HGV Class 2 licence (UK)
• Up to date CPC for your Class 2
• Up to date Digi card for your Class 2

You Must:

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary:

• Weekdays per hour: £15.00 ph (PAYE) or £17.00 ph (Inc of Holiday Pay via Umbrella Paye)
• Saturdays - £16.00 ph (PAYE), £17.00 ph (Inc of Holiday Pay via Umbrella paye)
• Sundays - £17.00 ph (PAYE), £19.00 ph (Inc of Holiday Pay via Umbrella paye)
