Job summary

Unitruc Ltd is seeking an experienced 18T HGV Driver to operate on a full-time, permanent basis from Barking, Essex. The role involves palletised transport for a single customer with regular deliveries across the South East. You will start around 5–6am, work 11 hours, and earn weekly pay with overtime options.

Trucks are automatic (Euro 6), with a focus on cargo care rather than fast deliveries. Training is provided and CPC/ADR qualifications are supported as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be keen, efficient with sound safe working practices.
• Health and safety of yourself and others must be considered.
• Valid digital tachograph compliance is required.
• Up-to-date CPC card is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Secure pallets and ensure tachograph and vehicle checks are legal daily.
• Logistics role based on 11-hour days with 5/6am starts, Mon-Fri, no nights out.
• Typical 6–8 deliveries per day with 10–11 hours worked; plan routes and loads for efficiency.
