Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a safety-conscious HGV Driver (Class 2) to join our delivery team across the region. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient delivery of our construction materials to customer sites, upholding high service standards and compliance.

We offer training, ongoing development, and opportunities to work with specialist vehicles, including Walking Floor, Rolling Floor, and Tipper, with occasional overnight stays as demand requires.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and compliance.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Reliable, punctual and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely, efficiently and courteously to customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicles and equipment.
• Complete vehicle and transport documentation in line with legal and company requirements.
• Follow Health & Safety policies, Working Time Directive regulations, and transport legislation.
• Support operational requirements with flexibility in location and occasional overnight stays.
