Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking an HGV Driver (Class 2) to deliver products across the region with safety and professionalism. You will represent the company on customer sites and ensure deliveries meet high standards while complying with transport legislation and health and safety rules.

This role involves operating specialist vehicles and occasional overnight stays, with training provided to support customer-specific requirements and location coverage across sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 HGV licence and CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card and compliance with transport regs.
• Strong health, safety and customer service focus.
• Reliable, punctual and adaptable with good time management.
• Willingness to travel/overnight stays when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely and courteously to customers.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and keep vehicle in good order.
• Complete transport paperwork accurately per legal requirements.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and Road Transport laws.
• Adhere to Working Time Directive and environmental procedures.
• Maintain attendance and reliability.
• Operate specialist vehicles as needed and support site duties.
• Be flexible with locations and occasional overnight stays.
• Undergo training and compliance checks as required.
• Follow site safety rules at all times.
