Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Runcorn area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

New passes welcome to apply. Induction/assessment is required prior to starting; hours are typically Monday to Friday starting around 7am. The role involves multi‑drop deliveries to bars/restaurants and related admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Class 2 licence and entitlement (Category C).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Clean driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop delivering alcohol to bars/restaurants within the local area.
• Ensure customer orders are secured and packaged correctly for delivery prior to departure.
• Inform the customer of any order delays, stock shortages or problems.
• Assist with the unloading of customer orders from the vehicle to the customer premises.
• Collect empty kegs/pallets and returns - when back at Depot ensure they are handled and stored correctly within the Warehouse or yard.
• Complete all paperwork/EPOD tasks and any administration tasks Liaise with Transport Management re. vehicle issues/delays
