Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Runcorn area for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C). No previous passes are required, induction/assessment is mandatory before starting. Typical hours are 7am from Monday to Friday, with PAYE rate of £16.23 per hour.

Location: Runcorn, WA7. Job type: ongoing with potential for permanent for the right candidate. New passes accepted!

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (Cat C).
• Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Knowledge of Working Time Directive legislation.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop delivering alcohol to bars/restaurants within the local area.
• Ensure orders are secured and packaged correctly for delivery.
• Inform customers of delays, stock shortages or problems.
• Assist with unloading orders from the vehicle to customer premises.
• Collect empties and returns, store appropriately in warehouse or yard.
• Complete paperwork/EPOD tasks and liaise with Transport Management.
