Job summary

HG Recruitment in Southampton is seeking a Class 2 Driver for multi-drop deliveries. The role is part-time (Friday to Monday) with start times from 02:00 to 12:00 and involves local area deliveries.

You will perform vehicle checks, load/unload goods, and maintain safety and compliance. A valid Class 2 license, CPC and tachograph card are required, with new passes welcomed and a focus on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Recent multi-drop driving experience preferred; new pass welcome.
• Positive attitude, reliability and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries across local routes.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring accuracy and care of all items.
• Adhere to driving hours, tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintain communication with transport team and customers.
• Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
