Initially the role focuses on on-site operations with progression to full road duties on success, offering a supportive environment, ongoing training, and potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (C) licence
• Valid CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Newly passed drivers welcome
• Willingness to learn and safety-minded

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 HGV vehicle safely and responsibly
• On-site driving and yard duties
• Progress to road driving and customer collections
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Ensure waste is transported safely and securely
• Follow Health & Safety procedures
• Comply with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Provide a professional and reliable service to customers
• Assist with different driving and yard duties as required
