TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring Ltd is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver for its Nottingham distribution team. You will ensure safe, timely stock deliveries to branches, maintain high compliance, and deliver excellent customer service across the network.

The role requires a valid Category C HGV Licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph card, with daily vehicle checks and a supportive, team-focused environment. Flexible and safety-minded individuals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• A valid Category C (Class 2) HGV Licence, Driver CPC Qualification, and digital tachograph card.
• A good understanding of road transport rules and safe driving practices.
• The ability to load and unload goods, including lifting heavy items (manual handling equipment provided).
• Good time management, organisation, and communication skills.
• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
• A professional and customer-focused approach, with good attention to detail.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to help out in the warehouse when needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries safely, professionally and on time.
• Safely load and unload your vehicle, ensuring goods are secured for transport.
• Check that loads are correct and match customer orders.
• Complete delivery and quality checks and obtain customer signatures on receipt.
• Follow tachograph, transport, and health and safety regulations.
• Keep your vehicle clean, roadworthy and free from damage.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and submit all required paperwork.
• Take responsibility for vehicle servicing, MOTs and routine inspections.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents or incidents promptly and in line with company procedures.
• Help in the warehouse when needed and work closely with the wider team.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties to support the operation.
