Job summary

TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our distribution and warehouse team at our Kent branch. You will ensure stock is delivered safely, on time, and in excellent condition across the network.

You will load/unload, complete multi-drop deliveries, and maintain vehicle conditions while adhering to safety and tachograph rules. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class 2 HGV licence and understanding of road transport regulations.
• Must be safety-conscious with focus on customer service.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to undertake physical duties such as loading/unloading stock.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading and unloading your vehicle, ensuring all goods are secured for transit.
• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries efficiently and professionally.
• Carrying out delivery checks and obtaining customer signatures upon receipt.
• Adhering to tachograph, transport and health & safety regulations.
• Keeping your vehicle clean, roadworthy and well-maintained.
• Reporting any vehicle defects, accidents or incidents promptly and per procedures.
• Completing daily vehicle inspections and submitting documentation accurately.
• Taking ownership of vehicle servicing, MOT schedules and routine inspections.
• Supporting warehouse operations when required and collaborating with the team.
