TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver for our Nottingham distribution and warehouse team. You will ensure stock is delivered safely, on time and in compliance, supporting branches across the network.

The role offers sociable hours with no overnights, a competitive salary with a quarterly bonus up to £1000, and fully funded CPC training. Join a friendly team and contribute to outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph card.
• Understanding of road transport rules and safe driving practices.
• Ability to load/unload goods; manual handling equipment provided.
• Good time management, organisation and communication skills.
• Team player with a customer-focused approach and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Complete multi-drop deliveries safely, professionally and on time.
• Safely load and unload the vehicle, securing goods for transport.
• Check loads against customer orders for accuracy.
• Obtain customer signatures on receipt and complete delivery checks.
• Follow tachograph, transport and health & safety regulations.
• Keep vehicle clean, roadworthy and free from damage.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and submit required paperwork.
• Report defects or incidents promptly per procedures.
• Assist in the warehouse and support the wider team.
• Perform other duties to support operations.

TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring is looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our busy distribution and warehouse team at our Nottingham branch. In this role, you'll play a key part in making sure our branches receive stock safely, efficiently, and on time, helping us deliver outstanding service to customers across the network.

What you'll be doing

As one of our drivers, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of stock while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer service.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Complete multi-drop deliveries safely, professionally and on time.
• Safely load and unload your vehicle, making sure all goods are secured correctly for transport.
• Check that loads are correct and match customer orders.
• Complete delivery and quality checks and obtain customer signatures on receipt.
• Follow all tachograph, transport, and health and safety regulations.
• Keep your vehicle clean, roadworthy and free from preventable damage.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and submit all required paperwork.
• Take responsibility for vehicle servicing, MOTs and routine inspections to keep the vehicle safe, roadworthy and legal.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents or incidents promptly and in line with company procedures.
• Help in the warehouse when needed and work closely with the wider team.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the operation.

You'll need:

• A valid Category C (Class 2) HGV Licence, Driver CPC Qualification, and digital tachograph card
• A good understanding of road transport rules and safe driving practices
• The ability to load and unload goods, including lifting heavy items (manual handling equipment provided)
• Good time management, organisation, and communication skills
• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• A professional and customer-focused approach, with good attention to detail
• A flexible attitude and willingness to help out in the warehouse when needed
