We are recruiting Class 2 drivers to work for one of the UK's market leading retailers from their depot in Avonmouth in Bristol. The roles are temp to perm - after 12 weeks, you will be offered a permanent contract directly with the client. The client is happy to accept newly qualified drivers, making this a great opportunity to build your experience and work for a company that invests in your progression.
All drivers will need to pass a drug and alcohol test (and be willing to be re-tested occasionally) and undergo a Disclosure Scotland (DBS) clearance. The company enforces a strict anti-drugs and alcohol policy and conducts random tests daily.
The start times will be between 4am-6am, with an average of around 50 hours per week. The roles are Monday to Friday only, with no weekend work.
The pay rate is £17.00 per hour, with a starting annual salary of £42,432 plus overtime and quarterly bonuses.
Please note that the roles are physically demanding, with approximately 60% of your day spent loading and unloading. You will work with another driver or a driver's mate to share the workload.
