People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Skip Lorry Driver to join our well-established client based in Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

As a Class 2 Driver you will receive the following benefits:

Rates of Pay:

• Training: Starting at £13.00 per hour depending on experience.
• Basic: £15.00 per hour
• Saturday : £22.50 per hour
• Sunday : £30.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Skip Lorry Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

As a Class 2 Skip Lorry Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• Have a minimum of six months experience driving Category C vehicles
• Previous experience as a Skip Lorry Driver
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations

Training

• Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
• After successful Assessment, there will be a week of paid training
• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
