Job Description

Pertemps are recruiting several HGV Class 2 Drivers (Cat C) for ongoing work with DHL Nisa in Scunthorpe. Responsibilities include delivering ambient or frozen goods to Nisa Local stores or distribution centres, involving unloading with an electric pump truck, with minimal manual handling.

Training and Assessments

Before starting, you'll need to pass a paid Class 2 HGV site assessment / induction, which includes:

• Drug and alcohol test (on-site urine sample)
• Multiple choice questionnaire on WTD and general knowledge
• Pre checks / Coupling up
• Driving assessment on the road
• 5-day classroom-based site induction

Shift Details

Start times are between 04:00 – 06:00. Available working days include Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Compensation

• Monday to Friday: £16.23ph for basic hours
• Overtime after 42 hours: £21.59ph
• Weekends: £18.26ph
• £50 weekly bonus for store deliveries
• £10 bonus for starting before 04:00

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience
• Category Cat C (HGV 2) on license
• Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
• No DR10, CD10, IN10 violations; no more than 6 points
