Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver for pallet work with refrigerated loads. Role includes loading/unloading and Monday to Friday shifts from 13:00 to 22:00. Temp to perm opportunity with progression to a £40,468.16 annual salary plus overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience driving refrigerated trucks and pallet work.

• Have HGV Sat Nav.
• Wear Safety Boots and Hi-Vis at all times.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading as required.
• Operate refrigerated HGV for palletised goods.
• Work Monday to Friday, 13:00–22:00.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver who are comfortable with pallet work driving refrigerated vehicles. Loading and unloading is required. This position is a temp to perm.

Monday to Friday – 13:00PM – 22:00PM

As a HGV Driver you must:

• Have Category C Licence
• Have CPC Card & Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years experience driving Class 2 due to client insurance purposes
• Experience driving refrigerated trucks and pallet work
• Have no more than 6 points on your licence
• Have HGV Sat Nav
• Have Safety Boots & Hi Vis

The successful Class 2 HGV Driver:

• Monday to Friday £17.00 – £18.00
• PAYE inclusive of your holiday pay on agency
• Once temp to perm completed salary will be £40,468.16 based on a 40 hour contract plus overtime at a flat rate. Entitles to 28 days annual leave including bank holidays with every year of service you gain an extra day but caps at 33 days.
