Job summary

Manpower Wales are currently looking to recruit Class 2 Day Drivers for immediate starts at our client's busy site in Chepstow. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with a global leader in transport and logistics, offering long-term career prospects for the right candidates.

The role operates a Class 2 vehicle, with daily checks and compliance to VOSA regulations, performing home and kerbside deliveries of white goods, kitchen units and worktops, averaging about 12–15 drops per day,

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Multidrop delivery experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points with no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Physically fit due to the manual nature of the role.
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle in line with company and legal requirements.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with VOSA regulations.
• Perform home and kerbside deliveries.
• Deliver white goods, kitchen units and worktops.
• Complete approximately 12–15 drops per day.
• Use handheld scanners and complete delivery paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery.
• Work safely as part of a two-person delivery team where applicable.
