Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV licence for Class 1 and/or Class 2.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid digital tachograph card and tachograph rules knowledge.
• Good knowledge of UK road safety and driving legislation.
• Experience driving HGV vehicles with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and maintain documentation.
• Good communication and professional attitude with customers and colleagues.
• Strong time-management and reliability to meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles in a safe and compliant manner.
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections across routes.
• Ensure vehicles are checked before and after journeys, reporting defects.
• Follow tachograph and working time regulations.
• Secure loads and maintain safe driving standards at all times.
• Provide a professional service with clear, timely communication to customers.
