Job summary

Driver Hire Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Class 2 HGV Concrete Mixer Driver in Bury St Edmunds to start ASAP. You will drive a new fleet of auto cement mixers, delivering ready-mix concrete to customers on a daily basis, with Monday–Friday 7am starts and on-site time in busy construction environments.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Licence with Cat C Entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Drive ready-mix concrete to customer sites on a Monday–Friday schedule.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of concrete materials.
• Operate a fleet of auto cement mixer vehicles in the East of England region.
• Communicate clearly and maintain safety on site.

Pay rate: £14.34 - £19.12

Contract: Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for Class 2 HGV Concrete Mixer Driver to start ASAP for our client based in Bury St Edmunds, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team.

The successful Class 2 HGV Concrete Mixer Driver will receive:

• £14.34 basic
• £19.12 overtime after 9hrs
• Paid breaks.
• Guaranteed 9hrs per day.
• 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE.
• Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period.

What to expect as a Class 2 HGV Concrete Mixer Driver:

Working Monday to Friday on 7am starts you'll be driving in a new fleet of auto cement mixer vehicles. You will be delivering ready-mix concrete to customers on a daily basis.

You must be able to demonstrate safe loading and unloading.

This role will require regular time working on-site in busy construction environments.

Must be a good communicator & safety conscious.

Previous construction site experience preferred but not essential.

Delivery sites usually around the East of England.

New passes welcome to apply!

As a Class 2 HGV Concrete Mixer Driver you must:
