Job summary

Driver Hire Ipswich is seeking a Class 2 HGV Concrete Mixer Driver for a temporary to permanent role in Bury St Edmunds. Start ASAP with a 7am start, delivering ready-mix concrete and operating new auto cement mixer trucks.

Salary pays £14.34–£19.12 per hour with paid breaks, guaranteed 9 hours per day, and 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE. Upskilling to HGV/ADR/HIAB after probation is available. Referral bonuses offered.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Licence with Cat C entitlement.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachocard.
• Have no more than 6 effective penalty points.
• No DG, DD or IN endorsements.
• New passes welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ready-mix concrete to customers daily.
• Drive a fleet of auto cement mixer vehicles.
• Work on-site in busy construction environments.
• Demonstrate safe loading and unloading.
