Job summary

Smart Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our client's waste and recycling operation in Farnham. This role offers Monday to Friday daytime hours, an immediate start and potential to move onto a permanent contract.

You'll drive a Class 2 dustcart, assist with residential waste collections and work with a small crew on daily routes, with job stability and weekly pattern.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with at least 12 months experience.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• 6+ months Class 2 driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 dustcart / refuse lorry for residential collections.
• Complete routes with loaders and assist with wheelie bins.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and follow safety procedures.

Class 2 Dustcart Driver – £17.50ph + £500 Bonus

Location: Farnham, GU9
Pay: £17.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm
Start: Immediate

• £250 after completing 4 full weeks

About the role

Smart Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our client's waste and recycling operation in the Farnham area.

This is a great opportunity for a Class 2 driver looking for Monday to Friday work, regular daytime hours and ongoing employment, with the potential to move onto a permanent contract.

You’ll be working as part of a small collection crew, driving a refuse vehicle and helping with residential waste collections across local areas.

What you'll be doing

• Driving and operating a Class 2 dustcart / refuse lorry
• Completing residential waste collections across different local areas
• Working alongside loaders to complete daily collection routes
• Helping to move and empty domestic wheelie bins where required
• Completing any additional work and missed collections
• Driving safely around residential roads and being aware of pedestrians, other vehicles and members of the public
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and following Health & Safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to complete routes efficiently

What we're looking for

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence – minimum 12 months
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• At least 6 months' Class 2 driving experience
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working outdoors and as part of a hands‑on team
• Able to adapt to different routes and working environments
• Previous waste, recycling, refuse or dustcart experience is an advantage, but not essential
