Job summary

Berry Recruitment are seeking Class 2 Day Drivers for a reputable company in Immingham. The role involves driving Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicles with tankers to transport effluent and waste water.

Shifts are 4 on, 4 off from 5 am to 5 pm with an immediate start. The position offers full training, PPE, and potential temp-to-perm opportunities. A valid Class 2 licence with CPC and good communication are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 licence with CPC.
• 2+ years driving experience preferred, but training and inductions provided.
• Willingness to take alcohol and drugs test during induction and on shifts.

Job description

Berry Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Day Drivers for a reputable company in Immingham.

Location: Immingham, United Kingdom

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (day shifts from 5 am to 5 pm).

IMMEDIATE START

Pay Rate: £16.00 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) with tankers.
• Transport effluent and waste water as part of your duties.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling hazardous materials.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours and activities.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Collaborate with team members and follow delivery schedules.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
• Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Ideally a min of 2 years experience driving however full drivers assessments and inductions and training will be provided so will consider new passes.
• Willingness to take an alcohol and drugs test during the induction process and on a continuing basis when working on shifts.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
