Job summary

Berry Recruitment are looking for Class 1 Night Drivers for a reputable company in Barnsley.

Location: Barnsley, United Kingdom. Shift patterns include 4 on, 4 off (night shifts 5pm–5am) or 5–6 shifts per week, with an immediate start. The pay rate is £20.17 per hour and full training is provided.

Responsibilities include driving Class 1 HGVs with tankers, transporting effluent and waste water, following safety protocols, recording driving hours, and conducting pre-trip inspections.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
• CPC certification required.
• Ideally a min of 2 years experience driving; training provided for new passes.
• Willingness to take alcohol/drugs tests during induction and ongoing.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Pay Rate: £20.17 an hour.

• Collaborate with team members and follow delivery schedules.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
• Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Ideally a min of 2 years experience driving however full drivers assessments and inductions and training will be provided so will consider new passes.
• Willingness to take an alcohol and drugs test during the induction process and on a continuing basis when working on shifts.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
