Job summary

The Best Connection Hanger Lane is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client in Greenford, supplying chilled, frozen and ambient goods to one of the UK's largest coffee shop chains.

This role requires a valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and tachograph cards, and a professional approach to safe driving and customer service. Starting immediately, it offers dayshift work with long hours and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph cards.
• Previous HGV Class 2 experience desirable.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous five years.
• Availability to work the stated shift pattern, including weekends.
• Reliable transport or the ability to reach Greenford for early starts.
• A reliable, professional and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Complete approximately 10-15 deliveries per shift to coffee shops.
• Deliver chilled, frozen and ambient products safely and efficiently.
• Operate vehicles safely, legally and professionally.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Follow drivers' hours, tachograph and working time regulations.

The Best Connection Hanger Lane is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client in Greenford, supplying chilled, frozen and ambient goods to one of the UK's largest coffee shop chains.

This is a demanding but rewarding role for someone with a professional approach to deliveries, customer service and safe driving.

Pay Rates and Shift Pattern

• £18.50-£19.00 per hour - Days

• 5 days on, 3 days off, including weekends.

• Start times between 05:00 and 09:00.

• Average of 48 hours per week over a 17-week period.

Key Responsibilities
