Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Wakefield to join our clients’ engineering team. The role offers a competitive hourly rate, overtime, and a bonus scheme. Deliveries and collections of powered access machinery at customer sites with a strong focus on customer service.

Applicants should have a valid LGV licence with few points, a Digi Card, an up-to-date CPC, and IPAF 3a/3B. Training and progression opportunities are available in a permanent role.

Qualifications

Digi Card must be valid for operating industry vehicles.
LGV Licence C+CE or holding a valid driving licence with 0–3 points is required.
A current CPC record must be up to date.
IPAF 3a & 3B qualifications are preferred for handling powered access equipment.
Experience loading/unloading powered access machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Deliver and collect powered access machinery for hire to customer sites.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections.

Job description

Position: Class 2 Driver

Salary: £14.50ph - £33,930

Shift: Monday - Friday 5:30am to 3pm

Overtime paid at 1.5

Bonus scheme

We are currently looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our clients dedicated Engineering team in their commitment in providing a high standard of service output for their customers. Delivering and collecting Powered Access Machinery. If you do not have an IPAF but have experience delivering heavy machinery/cars you will still be accepted.
