Job summary

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join their client’s engineering team in the Wakefield area. The role involves the safe delivery and collection of powered access machinery to customer sites, with full training provided and opportunities for progression.

Starting salary is £40,000 basic, with overtime paid at an enhanced rate. Monday–Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm, permanent position with additional benefits.

Qualifications

• LGV Licence Category CE / Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Driver Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• IPAF 3a & 3b certification (or willingness to obtain).

Job description

Position: Class 1 Driver

Salary: £40,000 basic

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm

We are seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our client’s dedicated Engineering team, supporting their commitment to delivering a consistently high standard of service. The role involves the safe delivery and collection of powered access machinery to and from customer sites. Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Class 1 Driver Qualifications
