Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a temp-to-perm role in Leicester. The successful candidate will deliver steel and metalwork to construction sites nationwide and may collect plant equipment such as scissor lifts or cherry pickers.

Typical shifts are Monday to Friday starting between 05:00 and 07:00, with 8–10 hour days. The role requires an LGV C licence and at least 1 year’s experience; training is provided for plant handling, and the position offers ongoing work with

Qualifications

• LGV C licence is required.
• At least 1 year of experience is required due to insurance criteria.
• Experience with strapping and securing steel products is needed.
• Plant equipment experience is preferred but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver steel and metalwork to construction sites nationwide.
• Deliver and collect construction plant equipment such as scissor lifts or cherry pickers.
• Work Monday to Friday with early starts (05:00–07:00).
• Typical shifts range from 8 to 10 hours depending on destinations.

Class 2 Driver- Temp to Perm - Leicester

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a temp-to-perm position with our client in Leicester. This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with the potential to become a full-time employee after a successful trial period.

The role involves delivering steel and metalwork to construction sites nationwide. You may also deliver and collect construction plant equipment, such as scissor lifts or cherry pickers.

The key details are:

• Up to 4 deliveries per day to locations nationwide
• Experience in strapping and securing steel products
• Plant experience would be preferred but not essential as training given
• Monday to Friday – starting between 05:00 and 07:00
• £16.50 p/h (£18.50 inc. holiday pay, accrued weekly)
• 28 days accrued holiday (pro-rata)
• Ongoing work
• Shifts from 8 to 10 hours, depending on destinations
