Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester is seeking a Class 2 driver for a Quedgeley-based client on a temporary ad hoc basis. You will deliver between 1 and 6 drops per shift, use handheld devices for checks, and handle forklift offloads with occasional light manual handling. Shifts run Monday to Friday with early start times.

The role requires a valid Class 2/C Licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and at least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience, plus strong communication and a professional demeanor.

Our Quedgeley-based client is looking for professional Class 2 / Cat C Drivers to join their team on a temporary ad hoc basis.

This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible work, whether you’re seeking to fit shifts around other commitments or simply prefer a varied schedule. Shifts are offered as and when required, with work available throughout the week.

Pay Rate

• £17.00 per hour (Advanced PAYE – inclusive of holiday pay)

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Typical start time: 4:00am
• Finish times generally between 2:00pm and 5:00pm
• Shifts available on an ad hoc basis to suit business needs
