Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting for a temporary Class 2 Driver based at Gatwick, Crawley (RH10 9AA). The role offers ongoing shifts with hourly pay in the £22.10–£24.18 range, supporting a major national logistics and distribution organisation.

You will operate a Class 2 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery points, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain delivery records. Applicants must hold a valid Cat C licence, CPC, and demonstrate reliability and safety

Qualifications

• Valid UK Cat C driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year of Class 2 driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
