Job summary

The Best Connection are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 (LGV C) drivers to work with our client based in Killingworth. Night trunking role, trunk run to a service station to swap wagon and return. Regular ongoing work available with a professional and reliable approach.

Must hold a valid UK Class 2 licence and have at least 2 years of commercial driving. Clean licence preferred; good communication and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' commercial Class 2 driving experience.
• Clean licence preferred (minor points considered).
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Reliable and punctual with flexible approach to work.

HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers to work with our client based in Killingworth.

Due to ongoing business requirements, our client is looking to strengthen their transport team with reliable drivers for regular night trunking work.

The Role:

• Night shift position
• Trunk run to a service station to swap wagon and return
• Straightforward trunking work
• Regular ongoing work available
• Professional and reliable approach required at all times

The Candidate:

• Must hold a valid UK Class 2 (C) licence
• Must have at least 2 years of commercial Class 2 driving experience
• Clean licence preferred (minor points considered)
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to work

Hours of Work:

• Night shifts
• Regular ongoing work available
• Additional shifts may be available based on operational requirements

Pay Rates (PAYE):

• £15.25 per hour - Monday to Friday (first 8 hours)
• £22.88 per hour - Monday to Friday (after 8 hours, time and a half)
• £22.88 per hour - Saturday (all hours, time and a half)
