Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting Class 1 Drivers and Class 2 Drivers for a well-established night delivery operation based in Skelmersdale.

This role provides Monday to Friday night work with guaranteed pay and no weekend shifts. As a Class 1 or Class 2 Driver you will deliver parts to car dealerships across the region, with 23:00 starts and 5–10 deliveries per shift, using a tail lift and working independently through the night.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable and trustworthy due to access to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to car dealerships across the region.
• 23:00 starts, Monday- Friday.
• Complete 5–10 deliveries per shift.
• Use a tail lift to unload cages from vehicle.
• Deliveries completed safely and professionally.
• Work independently during night shifts.

Class 1 Driver / Class 2 Driver - Nights - Skelmersdale

The Best Connection are recruiting Class 1 Drivers and Class 2 Drivers for a well-established night delivery operation based in Skelmersdale.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver or Class 2 Driver looking for ongoing night work, Monday to Friday, with guaranteed pay and no weekend working.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• Class 1 Driver: £17.82 per hour
• Class 2 Driver: £16.93 per hour
• 10 hours guaranteed pay per shift
• Holiday pay accrued separately and paid when annual leave is taken

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver or Class 2 Driver, you will deliver parts to car dealerships across the region.

Duties include:

• 23:00 starts, Monday- Friday
• Completing between 5- 10 deliveries per shift
• Using a tail lift to unload cages from vehicle and move to the designated delivery area
• Completing deliveries safely and professionally
• Working independently during night shifts

This HGV Driver role offers regular work, structured routes and a high level of responsibility.
