Job summary

GXO is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our Store to Home team in Washington, West Sussex. This full-time, permanent role operates on a two-week rotating shift pattern with start times at 08:00 or 11:00, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries to customer premises.

You will manage 16–24 drops daily, maintain time records to comply with WTD, and uphold safety and customer service standards as a key part of our logistics operations. Benefits include pension, training, and store discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in multidrop deliveries.
• Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph certification.
• Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal).
• Willingness to undergo DBS check.
• Be prepared to commute to Washington (NE37 1LH).

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer premises on a multidrop basis (avg 16 drops off-peak, 24 drops peak).
• Maintain driving/working time records (Tachomaster and manual).
• Operate company vehicles safely, legally, efficiently.
• Check off products and ensure correct delivery documents.
• Inform customers of ETA and any issues.
• Communicate courteously with customers.
