Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to deliver B&Q products to customers in Washington (NE37 1LH). This full-time, permanent role operates on a two-week rotating shift with start times at 08:00 or 11:00.

You will perform multidrop deliveries, log driving hours, and ensure safe, accurate handovers. Benefits include hourly pay (£14.82), overtime, CPC training, pension, and access to GXO University.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Be prepared to commute to Washington NE37 1LH for shifts.
• Willingness to undertake DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Delivering products to customer premises on multidrop basis; ~16 drops per day off-peak and ~24 in peak.
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using Tachomaster and manual entries.
• Operate company vehicles safely, legally and efficiently.
• Ensure correct delivery documentation and customer receipt.
• Keep customers informed of ETA and communicate delays courteously.
