Job summary

GXO is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join the Store to Home team in Hedge End (SO30 4HW). The role is full-time and permanent with a two-week rotating shift pattern, starting at 11:00 and a 40-hour week.

You will deliver products to customer premises, maintain records with Tachomaster, operate vehicles safely, and communicate delivery status to customers. A CPC, tachograph and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Previous multidrop/store deliveries experience preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no certain endorsements.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal.
• Willingness to undergo DBS check.
• Be prepared to commute to Hedge End for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer premises on a multi-drop basis (~16–24 drops/day).
• Record driving/working time accurately using Tachomaster and logs.
• Operate company vehicles safely and legally.
• Check deliveries and ensure correct products and paperwork.
• Inform customers of delivery ETA and handle issues professionally.
