Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a reliable Class 2 Driver in Tamworth to join our client’s busy operation. This 12-week temporary position offers potential permanent placement after the probationary period.

You will deliver building materials to sites, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain paperwork accuracy while delivering excellent customer service in a safe, compliant manner.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• CPC qualification card required.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• Desirable previous experience delivering building materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customer sites and construction projects.
• Complete local and regional deliveries safely and on time.
• Assist with yard movements and vehicle shunting when required.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Comply with road transport and health & safety regulations.
