Job summary

Simply Jobsworth is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our Worcestershire driver roster. The role covers local and regional deliveries, daily vehicle checks, and accurate delivery paperwork, with day and night shifts available.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with multiple start times across Worcestershire. A valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph card are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 / Category C licence.
• Must hold Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, punctual with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 across local and regional routes.
• Complete deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Complete relevant paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Follow drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Provide a professional service to customers and clients.
• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely.

The Role

Depending on the assignment, duties may include:

• Class 2 driving across local and regional routes
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Completing relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
• Following drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations
• Providing a professional service to customers and clients
• Ensuring all loads are transported safely and securely

What We're Looking For

You will need:

• Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
• Reliable and punctual attitude
• Good communication skills
