Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver in Middleton (M24 2YX) to deliver multi-temperature products to Greene King pubs on a 4-on, 3-off schedule with 12-hour shifts. The role is full-time and permanent, featuring training and development opportunities through GXO University.

You will perform vehicle checks, manage deliveries, unload stock, and ensure accurate paperwork while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (excluding DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements).
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre and post-shift checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Deliver multi-temperature products to Greene King pubs, managing on average 9 drop-offs effectively.
• Unload stock from cages during deliveries.
• Navigate busy city routes while handling challenging parking situations.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.
