Job summary

Barker Ross is recruiting for Class 2 drivers in Wigan. The role involves HGV2 driving, early 4am starts, and 3-4 shifts per week with potential for a permanent contract after 12 weeks. Applicants must hold a valid UK CPC and Tacho card and be physically fit.

DBS check and passing a license DBS check are required. Automatic vehicles only. Less experienced drivers are welcome, subject to qualification checks and a clean driving record, with duties including multdrop and light cage handling,

• New pass welcome
• No more than 6 points on licence
• DBS check required
• Must pass DBS check and drive automatic vehicles only

• Walking 10-20k steps per day

Barker Ross are recruiting for Class 2 drivers in Wigan, this role could become permanent for the right candidate after 12 weeks.

No experience required but must hold valid uk cpc + tacho

DRIVERS MUST BE CONFIDENT DRIVING MANUAL ALSO

Key details:

• HGV2 driving work
• 3-4 shifts per week
• Day shifts
• Multidrop - Cages - avg 8 per day
• 4-5am starts but mainly 4am - Finishing each shift around 1pm
• Must be physically fit
• CPC + Tacho card required
• Potential of a permanent contract for a suitable driver
• Food delivery
• We will submit a CRB check for successful drivers
• Lots of walking involved 10-20k steps per day
• Tail lift
• MUST PASS DBS CHECK
• Automatic vehicles only

Requirements:

• CPC + Tacho card in date (UK)
• New pass welcome
• No more than 6 pts on licence
• NO IN10 or DR10
• Must pass dbs check
• NO CU80 on licence
