Job summary

Barker Ross Group is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's busy operation in Daventry, England. This role offers Monday to Friday work with an immediate start and starts between 5:00am and 6:00am.

You will perform multi-drop deliveries (up to 6 drops per day) in boxed vehicles, unloading with a pump truck and tail lift, and presenting a professional image for customer-facing duties.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Maximum 6 points on licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries with up to 6 drops per day.
• Local or distance routes depending on the schedule.
• Start times between 5:00am and 6:00am.
• Unloading using a pump truck and tail lift.
• Customer-facing role requiring professional presentation.

The Role

• Monday to Friday


• Start times between 5:00am and 6:00am


• Multi-drop deliveries - up to 6 drops per day


• Routes can be local or distance, depending on the daily schedule


• Deliveries will vary from day to day


• Vehicles are boxed vehicles


• Unloading using a pump truck and tail lift


• Customer-facing role, so good communication and professional presentation are essential


• No assessment required

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence


• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 2 driving experience


• Maximum 6 points on your licence

• Reliable and punctual
