Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our Avonmouth operation in Bristol. You will join a two-person crew delivering kitchens and related products to residential and commercial customers. Shift pattern is full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm.

You must hold a UK Class 2 driving licence and Driver CPC, with a Digital Tachograph card. This temp-to-perm role offers a clear path to permanent employment following a successful probation period.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual and team oriented

Responsibilities

• Deliver kitchens, worktops, cabinets and related products to customers
• Work with a driver’s mate to complete safe deliveries
• Load and unload vehicles including heavy and bulky items
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks before each shift
• Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately
• Deliver a professional, courteous customer experience at every site
• Follow road transport legislation and company health & safety procedures

What you’ll be doing:

• Work alongside a driver’s mate to complete safe, efficient deliveries
• Load and unload vehicles, including heavy and bulky items
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks before each shift
• Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately
• Deliver a professional, courteous customer experience at every site
• Follow road transport legislation and company health & safety procedures
• Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy

What you’ll bring:

• ValidUK Class 2 (Category C)driving licence

• Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting/manual handling
