Job summary

Manpower UK Ltd is recruiting for a Class 2 Driver in Avonmouth. This temp-to-perm role offers full-time hours (45 hours per week), with a start time of 6am-4pm, Monday to Friday, and a pay rate of £17.75 per hour.

You will join a two-person crew delivering kitchens and related products to residential and commercial customers. You will operate safely, load/unload, and complete paperwork while maintaining excellent customer service and compliance with transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.
• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver kitchens, worktops, cabinets and related products to customers.
• Work with a driver's mate to complete safe, efficient deliveries.
• Load and unload vehicles, including heavy items.
• Do daily vehicle safety checks before shifts.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Provide a professional, courteous customer experience at each site.
• Follow road transport legislation and company health & safety procedures.
• Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.

You'll join a busy, growing distribution operation in Avonmouth, delivering kitchens and kitchen units to both residential and commercial customers as part of a two-person crew.

What you'll be doing:

• Deliver kitchens, worktops, cabinets and related products to customers
• Work alongside a driver's mate to complete safe, efficient deliveries
• Load and unload vehicles, including heavy and bulky items
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks before each shift
• Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately
• Deliver a professional, courteous customer experience at every site
• Follow road transport legislation and company health & safety procedures
• Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy

What you'll bring:
