Job summary

Rapier Employment is seeking HGV 2 Drivers to join a growing Exeter team delivering home furnishings. The role offers full-time hours with a temp-to-perm path and an immediate start for qualified drivers.

You will work in a 2-person delivery crew, with local multi-drop routes (12–18 drops per day), starting Wednesday to Sunday at 6am and completing shifts up to 12 hours. We provide on-the-job training and a supportive environment, with potential to move into a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving License with Class 2 entitlement (up to 6 points allowed for speeding only).
• Valid CPC Card and Tacho Card.
• Aged 21 or older for insurance purposes.
• Able to pass theory and driving-based assessment.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Shifts: Wednesday to Sunday, 6am starts, up to 12 hours.
• Location: Exeter-based, delivering locally.
• Teamwork: work as part of a 2-person delivery team.
• Customer interaction: provide great customer service with every home delivery (12-18 drops per day).
