Equals One Ltd is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for our Wakefield operation. The role entails delivering products to designated sites, loading and unloading safely, and maintaining vehicle standards. You will be responsible for accurate documentation, maintaining safety, and delivering high service levels to our retail network.

The position is permanent and full-time, based in Wakefield (WF1 5RL). Salary is negotiable and will reflect experience.

Formación

• Full valid UK driving licence (Class 2) required.
• CPC qualification is essential.
• Experience in delivery/logistics within manufacturing or construction preferred.
• Strong customer service and professional communication expected.
• Reliability, punctuality and safety-conscious approach are required.
• Role involves heavy lifting and possible training.

Role Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and unload products to designated locations.
• Check loads for accuracy and ensure all products are handled carefully.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects immediately.
• Adhere to all transport legislation, including tachograph and driver hour regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers and site staff.
• Obtain accurate delivery documentation and signatures.
• Handle any delivery issues promptly and courteously.
• Ensure all goods are secured safely before transit.
• Follow company Health & Safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of company vehicles.
• To work in accordance with health and safety regulations, ensuring the health and safety of all staff, reporting near misses and RIDDOR.

Experience and skills required:

• A full valid clean UK driving licence (Class 2) is required As this role involves driving company vehicles, candidates must be over 25 to meet the eligibility requirements of the Company's motor insurance policy.

• Strong customer service skills and professional communication.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Willingness to undertake further training and implement learning in daily work.
