Job summary

Conquip is seeking a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver on a permanent basis for UK deliveries. You will contribute to on-time project logistics and uphold the company image in every customer interaction.

The role requires a Class 2 licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph, and a proactive, pressurized environment performance mindset. Expect 10‑hour shifts with early starts and occasional overnight stays at £40 per stay away; weekends off on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• CPC and Digital Tachograph compliance required.
• Class 2 Licence with proven experience (min. 2 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to handle high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect products in a professional, efficient, and effective manner.
• Liaise with the Transport Manager to ensure a customer-first approach.
• Communicate with the office and customers to maintain or exceed on-time delivery.
• Adhere to Tachograph and DSA driving standards.
• Maintain a positive image of the Conquip brand to customers.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with requirements.

HGV Class 2 Driver

Permanent

I am pleased to be representing a leading Engineering company, that is seeking a dependable and experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join their team on a permanent basis. As a key member of organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of essential equipment for various projects while representing the company in all interactions.

You will work 10-hour shifts, between the hours of 4am and 7pm, with your regular hours being 6am and 4pm, flexibility around these times is essential. You may also be required to stay overnight, with a fixed payment of £40 per stay away.

This is a Monday to Friday position, with weekends off.
