Job summary

LWC Drinks Ltd is seeking a committed delivery driver to service a designated area. You will operate in a safety-conscious manner, maintain company vehicles, and provide excellent customer service during each drop-off.

Role includes completing delivery documentation, handling payments, and assisting in warehouse tasks when needed. Uniform and professional presentation are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers within a specific area in a safe and friendly manner and maintain the vehicle.
• Complete delivery notes, return sheets and collect payments.
• Handle special delivery requests as noted on the delivery sheet.
• Keep customer information confidential regarding premises security and operations.
• Check run sheets, pick orders and plan routing for deliveries.
• Plan routes using the schedule and customer requests on delivery notes.
• Notify customers of stock shortages or delivery issues.
• Return all empty cases and gas bottles to the empties yard safely.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
• Complete checks and hand over check sheets to the distribution manager.
• Assist in warehouse tasks when required.
• Maintain a presentable appearance in LWC Drinks uniform.

Job Responsibilities

• To deliver products to customers within a specific area in a safe and friendly manner. Responsible for the care and upkeep of your designated vehicle. To provide excellent customer service standards to every customer., The responsibility of preparing the vehicle by conducting operator maintenance, ensuring all products for delivery are correct and that they have been loaded onto the vehicle correctly and safely.
• Responsible for completing delivery notes, return sheets and collecting payments.
• Execute any special requests from customers by picking up and delivering items as directed on the delivery note.
• Maintain customer confidence by keeping information strictly confidential regarding premises security and operational information.
• Responsibility for checking the run sheets and picking orders for your deliveries and routing.
• To plan your route and requirements for the drop by studying the schedule and any requests by the customer that is on the delivery note.
• Make customers aware of any stock shortages or problems with their delivery.
• Responsible for returning all empty cases and gas bottles, and ensuring that they are correctly stored in the empties yard and unloaded in the correct manner.
• Ensure that correct health and safety procedures are adhered to.
• To complete all required checks and ensure that check sheets are passed to the distribution manager.
• The ability to help in the warehouse when required.
• To look presentable in the correct LWC Drinks uniform at all times.

Contract & Working Hours

Please note, this role may involve physical and manual handling activities., 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 7am-3.30pm.

40 hours per week.

£2,000 discretionary bonus dependent on KPIs, after successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
