Job summary

MET Logistics are recruiting a skilled HGV Class 2 driver for our client in Tamworth. This role is a straight temp to perm with opportunities to progress to a permanent salary of £29,500.

Shifts start at 06:00, Monday to Friday, with early weeks trunking between Tamworth and Scunthorpe before moving to nationwide deliveries and collections. Overtime considerations apply after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with Cat C (1 year on licence).
• Valid Tachograph Card and CPC Card.
• Previous Class 2 experience.
• Positive attitude and willingness to handle goods efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and collections of builders merchants materials and construction products.
• Trunking between depot and initial locations for first two weeks.
• Nationwide deliveries and collections after the initial period.

Competitive Pay:£15 - £16.50 / Time and a half after 40 hours. Once permanent, salary is £29500.

Regular Work:Monday - Friday

Shifts:0600 start times.

Role

Delivery and collections of builders merchants materials and construction products using a flat bed
For the first 2 weeks, you will be trunking between their depot in Tamworth and Scunthorpe.
After initial 2 weeks, you will then be out on the road doing deliveries and collections nationwide.
No handball

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence with Category C (1 years on licence)
• Valid Driver Tachograph Card and CPC Card
• Previous Class 2 Experience
• A positive attitude and willingness to handle goods efficiently.
