Pure Staff Ltd is hiring a Class 2 Driver in Stoke to join a two‑man team delivering produce to wholesalers and distributors. Expect 12–15 drops daily, handball tasks with a driver mate, and start times between 07:00 and 09:00, Monday to Friday.

Role requires a Category C licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and prior HGV experience. Competitive hourly pay of £15–£16.81 with holiday pay and weekly payroll benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold Cat C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Must have Driver CPC / DQC.
• Must have Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV driving experience required.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Able to safely load and unload deliveries.
• Reliable with good timekeeping and adherence to hours rules.
• No more than 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver general produce to retailers and wholesalers within the local region.
• Assist with loading/unloading with a driver mate.
• Carefully handle heavy items such as engines and oil drums.
• Represent the client professionally and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain safe driving and report any vehicle defects.
• Check all paperwork and products for accuracy before delivery.
• Maintain clear communication during each shift and with the team.
• Typically perform 12–15 drops per day.

Class 2 Driver - £15ph - £16.81ph | Monday to Friday | Immediate Starts Available | Stoke

Pure Staff's Driving Team are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver in Stoke for be a apart of a two man team delivering their produce.

This role involves high levels of handball, so you will be going with a Drivers Mate, delivering produce to wholesalers and many food distributors, typically 12-15 drops.

Start times are typically between 0700 and 0900 Monday to Friday

Pay & Benefits for a Class 2 Driver

£15ph (+ accrued holiday pay ). Holiday is paid when you take annual leave.

£16.81 with your Holiday Pay rolled-up.

The Role

As a Class 2 you'll be delivering general produce to established retailers, food distributors and wholesalers throughout the local region. Typical duties include:

• Delivering car parts to industrial customers in a 75-mile radius.
• Loading/unloading of produce, with the assistance of a drivers mate
• Carefully delivering heavy items such as engines and oil drums
• Representing the client professionally and keeping customers satisfied
• Driving carefully and ensuring your assigned vehicle is well maintained and any defects are reported
• All paperwork and products on vehicle is checked to ensure accuracy with deliveries
• Consistent communication is maintained throughout shift
• Usually doing 12-15 regular deliveries of heavy goods per day

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced Van Driver who have:

• Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / DQC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV driving experience.
• Multi-drop experience or confidence working within a busy multi-drop environment.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Working Time and tachograph requirements.
• Good customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to safely load, unload and move stock.
• Reliability and good timekeeping.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
