Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Stoke. The role involves driving, manual handling, loading and unloading tyres, with ad hoc start times.

Pay is £137.10 per day, with additional allowances for Class 1 or wagon and drag duties, and a potential Class 1 + wagon combination. Ideal candidates have 6 months driving experience, a clean licence (no more than 6 points), a Digi card and DCPC, with a temp-to-perm path and on-site parking and training.

Qualifications

• 6 months Class 1 and Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Digi card and DCPC required.

Responsibilities

• Manual handling as part of day-to-day duties.
• Loading and unloading loads, including tyres.
• Work may include Class 2, Class 1, wagon and drag duties.

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Stoke.

Pay rates are as follows:

• Day rate for Class 2 - £137.10 per day
• If the driver works on class 1, they will get - £137.10 per day, plus £22 per day allowance
• If the drivers work on Wagon and Drag, they will get - £137.10 per day, plus £14 per day allowance
• If the drivers work on Class 1 and Wagon & Drag, they will get - £137.10 per day, plus £36 per day allowance

Ad hoc work available. Start times and days can vary

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Manual handling
• Loading and unloading
• Work can include Class 2, Class 1, wagon and drag
• Expected to load and unload Michelin tyres.

Our Perfect Worker

As an HGV Class 2 driver, you will ideally have:

• 6 months Class 1 and Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 6 points
• Digi card and DCPC
