Job summary

Ignition is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Southampton to deliver to customer homes in a two-person crew with a porter. A clear DBS check and relevant CPC/tachograph cards are required. You must have at least 6 months of Class 2 multi‑drop experience and a valid UK DCPC card.

The role involves heavy lifting and complying with WTD regulations. On-site benefits include weekly pay, early starts, and a consistent shift pattern. Applicants must be UK residents and able to travel to the site for shifts.

Pay Rate:£18.25 to £27.37 p/h

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday (06:00 - 07:00 start times)

Experience:6 months driving Class 2 (home delivery) is essential

Porter/Driver Mate - the role & responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle
• Working in a 2 Person Crew with aPorter
• Delivering products to Customer Homes
• Heavy lifting required (Bathrooms and Kitchens)
• Checking Delivery notes and completing paperwork
• Using a handheld scanner to record deliveries

About you:

Youmusthave your Class 2 Driving Licence and 6 months previous experience doing multi-drop work. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
